If you’re hesitant to cut a little length off your locks, you should know that it looks great on all women. Hairstylist Vicki Felan of Burleson, TX, says “go for it!” She adds, “Choose a style that will work best for your hair type and face shape.”
bob cuts and pixie cuts can be difficult to achieve, so stylists should be careful.
Felan points out, “It’s hard to get around the perimeter. The amount of fringe is often difficult to determine. What works for one woman doesn’t always work for the next.
Be prepared to follow the interview and its styling demands. Bangs should be styled every day. Hairstyles for short hair are not the trendy kind.
During a consultation, tell your stylist how much time you are willing to spend on your hair in the morning. Felan notes that some hair textures require more styling work each day.
“What’s important is that you feel better with your new haircut,” she says. “If you like a blowout and blowout style, give your stylist time to conceptualise the perfect cut for you.”
